our Programs
overview
Our Learn to Skate program is open to those with little or no skating experience, as well as those looking to continue their development. It is organized and designed to teach the fundamentals of skating, and is a requirement for those who want to pursue our future hockey programs.
Led by a team of figure skating as well as hockey coaches, we also offer an "advanced" group during these sessions for those who would like to continue to build upon the most important aspect of the game.
the details
- Skaters ages 3 and up welcome
- Skates, helmet, and protective gloves are required

Sessions
Our 2024-2025 Learn to Skate program is offered in 6 week increments in 6 separate sessions over the course of the season, beginning after Labor Day and continuing until Memorial Day.
Each skate is on Saturday and runs for 50 minutes, from 8:00am-8:50am at the Canton Sportsplex.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer make-up dates for missed classes. However, if we need to cancel a skate due to weather or rink scheduling conflicts that may arise, Sundays will be used to make up those classes as needed.
