OVERVIEW
The Future Dogs Development Program is the Boston Jr. Terriers own an in-house introductory league for beginner hockey players. It is NOT a learn-to-play program...please see our Learn to Play tab for further information.. It is NOT a travel development program...please see our Fed Futures tab for further information on pre-mite travel options.
Spots for this program will be offered during the tryouts In March. Any open spots after the tryout period will be offered after an evaluation process to determine the fit for the program. All players in our Future Dogs Development Program should have completed our Learn to Play programs before participating. The program consists of 2 x weekly practices/skills and weekend cross-ice games.
The Details
CANTON Schedule - Weds 4:50pm Fall/5:00pm Winter, Friday 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am
- Cost is $1,899 for full season program.
- All hockey equipment is required.
- Program jersey is provided.
This combination of (2) weekly skill sessions complimented by (1) day of game play allows each player to maximize repetitions and puck touches to quickly support their growth and development before entering the highly competitive full season teams that we offer as part of the Eastern Hockey Federation. This program is open to 2020 and select 2021 birth years.
BAVIS Schedule - Friday 4:20pm and Saturday 8:40am

This structure of (2) weekly skill sessions with game play introduced to the players will focus on maximizing repetitions and puck touches to quickly support their growth and development before entering the highly competitive teams that we offer as part of the Eastern Hockey Federation. This program is open to 2019, 2020 and 2021 birth years.
Sessions
The 2026-2027 program is a full-season offering based upon selections made during the tryout process in March. This 24-week program will run for September 9, 2026-February 24, 2027, with a week off for the holiday break from December 23-December 30.
**NOTE: Spots will be limited to 24 skaters for the season.
