2015-16 Global Mites!

Global Mites Hockey Club 2015-16

MITE AGED PLAYERS (2007, 2008, 2009)

The Mite level is where a child’s foundations and basic skills are developed. Here at our in-house Global Hockey Club we combine the beginning fundamentals of teaching basic skills to become a well-rounded hockey player in a fun, competitive atmosphere.

Why Global Hockey?

  • Our games are always full-ice play (as opposed to most programs that are half-ice only)
  • There is NO TRAVEL required because all games, practices, & skills sessions are at Bavis Arena in Rockland
  • NEW payment plans make our program VERY affordable!
  • Coached by our paid and fully-trained coaching staff
  • A set schedule makes planning your time EASY - no early mornings or late nights!

Games are always Sunday mornings at 8:40 or 9:50.  For full season players: Skills are Mondays at 6:00 and practices are Thursdays at 5:20

We have two options available to families - click here to read more or register!

Terrier Training System - NEW SESSIONS!
by posted 05/08/2015

Terrier Training System

Our Mission: Teaching young pups hat tricks!

  • Why? USA Hockey certified coaches lead each session using age appropriate and positive teaching methods. Each player will learn to play hockey from skating to scoring.
  • What is it? Learn to play hockey for players born in 2009, 2010 and 2011 (or newer skaters born in 2008 and 2007) that have graduated from Pro Evolution's Learn to Skate or LIL Pups hockey skating curriculum.  Each weekday session will start with free skate, then split into age specific skills for 30 minutes and followed by 10 minutes of a game.  Weekday games include either hockey, tag, or asteroids.  Weekend games will be 3 vs. 3 cross- ice, 4 vs. 4 half ice or 5 vs. 5 full ice.
  • Where? Canton SportsPlex

Terrier Games and Practices!
by posted 04/23/2015

Within the next month, we'll be adding the practice schedule for the summer and regular season.  Later in the summer we'll be adding the game schedules.  If any event is canceled, modified, etc. - it will be done on the website and you will receive a notification of the change.  However, this only happens if you follow the steps below.  Please take action and follow these steps - we've done this to provide parents with the earliest possible notification and to take the task away from our busy coaches.

***Note – you must do this even if you did it last year – since your child’s team is different.****
